The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has flagged four petrol stations for offering petroleum for sale above the prescribed ceiling price. According to the Ministry of Petroleum, the four retail stations which now face stern action are located in Migori, Kehancha, Awendo and Isebania. The sanctioning of the stations comes on the backdrop of investigations and surveillance including a probe by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) on companies reported to have failed to maintain minimum operational stocks or hoard petroleum.
