“I’m great. Ready to go,” said Shai Gilgeous-Alexander after leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 120-107 victory over the Phoenix Suns in Game 2 of their playoff series.

The Thunder, who are the top seed in the Western Conference playoffs, showcased their strength at home. Gilgeous-Alexander scored a game-high 37 points, continuing his impressive performance from Game 1, where he also contributed significantly to a commanding win.

In Game 1, the Thunder defeated the Suns decisively with a score of 119-84. This strong start set the tone for their playoff campaign. In Game 2, Chet Holmgren also played a crucial role, contributing 19 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks.

However, not all news was positive for Oklahoma City. Jalen Williams exited the game with an apparent left hamstring injury. His status for future games remains uncertain.

Dillon Brooks led the Suns with 30 points but could not overcome the Thunder’s offensive firepower. The Suns entered the playoffs as the eighth seed and struggled to find consistency on the road this season, finishing with a record of 20-21 away from home.

Mark Daigneault praised his team’s work ethic and endurance: “His work capacity, his endurance in the job is one of the most impressive things I’ve been around.” He emphasized that they understand the nature of the playoffs and know how crucial each game is.

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix. The prediction markets show overwhelming confidence in the Thunder to secure another victory in Game 3.

The Thunder have a home record of 34-7 this season. Their dominance at Paycom Center continues to be a significant advantage as they aim for a deep playoff run.
