Transfer Speculation Surrounds Djed Spence
Tottenham Hotspur full-back Djed Spence is reportedly attracting interest from several major clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, and Inter Milan. Despite recent injury concerns for Liverpool, the club reportedly has no intention of pursuing a summer transfer move for the 25-year-old. However, other reports suggest Liverpool does hold some interest in the England international.
According to one report, Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola is looking for defensive reinforcements, and Spence has emerged as a primary target. The club is said to be monitoring the situation closely, ready to act if an opportunity arises before the transfer window closes. However, another journalist has indicated that while Spence has been offered to Liverpool, it is not clear if the club has expressed a desire to sign him.

Manchester United has also been offered the chance to sign Spence. The club is reportedly seeking a long-term successor for Luke Shaw at left-back. While Newcastle United star Lewis Hall is considered a top target for Manchester United, Spence, who can play as both a right-back and a left-back, has been presented as an option to the club.
Tottenham’s Stance and Inter’s Pursuit
Tottenham is reportedly open to selling Spence if they receive a suitable offer, with a price tag believed to be around £35 million. This comes despite Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi reportedly wanting to keep the player as a squad member. Spence signed a contract extension last August, tying him to the club until June 2028, which strengthens Tottenham’s negotiating position.
Inter Milan is also leading the chase for Spence. The Italian club has identified the England international as a priority to strengthen their full-back position, especially after Denzel Dumfries‘s departure to Real Madrid. Inter has reportedly held discussions with Spence’s representatives and is willing to increase their budget to compete with other interested clubs.

Spence himself is reportedly keen on playing regularly, whether on the right or left side of the defence. He was granted an extended holiday after helping England secure third place at the World Cup, missing Tottenham’s pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia. The full-back’s future is currently under assessment as the new Premier League season approaches.
Other Transfer Rumours
In other transfer news, Juventus is reportedly looking to secure Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee, 25, on a loan deal without an obligation to buy from Manchester United. Arsenal and Manchester United sent scouts to observe 20-year-old striker Kaua Elias score a hat-trick in a pre-season friendly for Shakhtar Donetsk, with AC Milan and Porto also showing interest in the Brazilian.
Liverpool has intensified discussions with 18-year-old Paris St-Germain and Senegal winger Ibrahim Mbaye’s representatives, as the teenager has expressed a desire to leave the French champions. Negotiations between West Ham and Tottenham over 27-year-old Israel winger Manor Solomon are currently paused due to financial reasons.
Ipswich and Everton are among the clubs hoping to attract 27-year-old Senegal international Krepin Diatta, a right-sided player who became a free agent after his contract at Monaco expired in June. Ipswich is also in advanced talks with Fulham for the permanent signing of 29-year-old Serbia midfielder Sasa Lukic. Galatasaray has added 25-year-old Arsenal and Brazil forward Gabriel Martinelli to their transfer shortlist. Sunderland is in a strong position to sign Mozambique winger Geny Catamo from Sporting Lisbon, with Aston Villa, Brentford, and Everton also monitoring the 25-year-old.
