Impact on Chelsea’s Midfield
The acquisition of Rogers raises questions about his integration into Chelsea’s squad, particularly concerning his role alongside Cole Palmer. Both players operate in similar attacking positions, with Rogers having played in the World Cup in Palmer’s stead. Potential targets for Arsenal include Desire Doue or Bradley Barcola from PSG. The club’s need for a left winger is emphasised, especially following the sale of Leandro Trossard, a move that some found surprising given his contributions in significant matches.
