NSSF’s internship program aims to equip young graduates with practical experience while contributing to the development of skilled talent for the Kenyan labor market. The Fund announced internship opportunities for Kenyan graduates seeking hands-on workplace experience.
The program lasts for one year. Eligible applicants must hold a degree or diploma from an accredited institution. They must also be unemployed and aged between 20 and 34 years.
Candidates should have graduated within the last five years from the closing date of the advert. Those who have never undertaken any other internship will be prioritized.
Key requirements include:
- Applications must be submitted online by May 22, 2026.
- A recommendation letter from the institution attended is required.
- Successful candidates must serve the full term of one year.
NSSF encourages inclusivity, inviting women and marginalized communities to apply. Interns will be assigned duties by departmental supervisors upon placement.
The internship does not guarantee employment after completion. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further steps in the recruitment process.
This initiative is part of the government’s youth initiative to nurture talent for the Kenyan labour market. The Fund intends to run this program to enable youths to gain practical, on-the-job experience.
